Day 1
Between Tavira and the Guadiana
The expedition begins in the Algarve, and we head off-road through the Alportel area, traversing *barrocal* landscapes, rural tracks, and the transition zone between the hills and the coast.
Lunch takes place in Tavira, followed by a tour of the city and its Roman heritage, taking in historic streets, bridges, and the castle. In the afternoon, we head off-road to Vila Real de Santo António before arriving at the hotel for a wine-paired dinner designed to celebrate the first flavors of the south.

Day 2
From the Guadiana to the heart of the Alentejo
The day begins with an off-road journey along the Guadiana, traversing landscapes that connect the Algarve to the Alentejo. The morning takes us to Mértola, where we visit the castle and discover a town shaped by history, the border, and the river.
After lunch, we head towards Serpa. The afternoon concludes with a visit to the Cante Alentejano Museum, followed by our arrival at the hotel for a wine experience featuring premium local products and dinner.

Day 3
From the plains of the Alentejo to the Atlantic coast
We set off in an off-road vehicle toward the Atlantic coast, crossing plains, rural tracks, and landscapes where the Alentejo interior begins to meet the influence of the sea.
Lunch takes place in Porto Covo, in a coastal setting defined by the freshness of local flavors. In the afternoon, we head towards Carvalhal, traveling along an area of steep cliffs.

Day 4
Along the rugged cliffs of the Costa Vicentina
We continue off-road along the Costa Vicentina, passing through the Amoreira area. Throughout the morning, we stop at the beaches of Monte Clérigo, Arrifana, and Canal, amidst cliffs, coves, and wild landscapes overlooking the Atlantic.
After lunch amidst nature, we head down towards Sagres, stopping at the village of Pedralva for a brief stroll among its restored traditional houses. The afternoon also includes a scenic stop at Cordoama before we arrive at the hotel for a farewell wine dinner.

Day 5
Sagres, and farewell to the south
The final day begins with breakfast and a briefing before we visit some of Sagres' most iconic sites. The morning includes the *Voz do Mar*—a sound sculpture by the Atlantic—and the Sagres Fortress, where Portuguese maritime history meets the power of the landscape.
Conclusion of the expedition, with lunch and handover of the vehicles.

Drivers must have a valid and legally recognized driver's license in Portugal, with at least 5 years of driving experience. DRIVEXPLORE® may refuse vehicle authorization if safety concerns arise. |

A normal level of physical fitness is recommended for active travel. Participants should be comfortable with road trips, light walking, exposure to inclement weather, and itinerary flow. |
